THE BIGGEST SALE EVER NOW AT HOT GLASS HOUSTON
When we say the biggest sale we really mean it – the whole studio is for sale!

MAKE HOT GLASS HOUSTON YOUR OWN – HOW MUCH?

Folks tell us they would love to own Hot Glass Houston but say there is no way they could afford to buy it. Not so! So how much? How does $25,000 sound to you? Read on…

We are selling the business in two parts – the core business operations + inventory. The core business includes the business software, website, transition consulting, training docs, tools, tables, kilns, saws, wet belt sander, sand blaster and compressor and other equipment for $25,000. That would cost over $45,000 if you started from scratch.

$25,000 gets you everything you need to run the studio and you decide how much of the inventory you want to buy to operate it. We carry between $25,000 and $50,000 of inventory at cost throughout the year. It’s up to you at the time of sale how much of our inventory you want to purchase. When we opened our doors we had $24,000 on hand. That is a really good level to keep on hand at all times for workshops and customer purchases. So for a total of $49,000 or even much less, Hot Glass Houston is yours with a very decent inventory stocking level and the equipment to run it.

WHY WE ARE SELLING

We have had an amazing four years building the business here at Hot Glass Houston with awesome customers and amazing glass artists partnering with the undisputed leader in kiln formed glass – Bullseye Glass – as one of their select Kiln Glass Resource Centers. With most of our kids out of the house, plans to do a lot more travel and to pursue our own artistic direction in glass, we’ve decided to sell Hot Glass Houston.

READY, SET, GO WITH A RECOGNIZED BRAND IN TEXAS & BEYOND!

With our commitment to provide you on-site transitional business support after the sale, you can walk right into an established and recognized turnkey operation picking up where we left off.

Six months after opening the studio, Hot Glass Houston broke even. Our growth in purchasing and selling Bullseye Glass puts us at their highest discount level. We have over 500 active customers, over 1,200 folks have opted in for our newsletter, and we have nearly 2,300 followers on Facebook.

BUILT FOR A GLASS STUDIO

It took us six months to find the perfect spot for our studio in a safe location, with easy access from Houston and surrounding areas, a lease with super terms from an easy to work with landlord. That’s exactly what we got at our studio in the Tomball Parkway Business Park in booming Tomball, TX.

Built to our specifications, the 3,159 square foot Hot Glass Houston studio is evenly divided between retail sales and supplies, our spacious classroom and a cold working and kiln equipment room that boasts a 12’ wide by 16’ high overhead door making it easy to receive crates of glass and other materials. There is also plenty of room to expand into adjacent space if you want to grow even bigger than what we are today.

Bright white walls and twice the usual number of overhead lights make our teaching area perfect for workshops. Our classroom layout with all tables on wheels makes it easy teach up to 16 persons at a time and we have enough stools to seat over 20 persons for special events and lectures. With 400amps of power wired in today, the studio backs up to the complex mechanical room making easy to add more electricity as needed. We made sure to choose the end cap so we had more room for our customers to park around the side of the building.

Nationally recognized guest teaching artists tell us we have one of the best teaching studios in the States. Our goal has always been to make Hot Glass Houston a perfect experience for both our customers and our teachers.

NICELY EQUIPPED – FOR TEACHING & YOUR OWN WORKS

We have more than doubled our kiln capacity since opening our doors and can now fire up to eight 20” by 20” kiln shelves of glass at a time. We even have a 23” deep kiln for larger drip cast projects. Blast with power in our over-sized 48” by 24” Bad Boy Blaster cabinet fed by an Eaton 5HP 80 gallon compressor rated at 19 SCFM @ 100 PSI. Rounding out cold working, the studio is equipped with two MK101 Tile Saws, a CRL 4″X106″ Wet Belt Sander, an Alpha Angle Grinder, a Foredom and other miscellaneous equipment. Even with all that powerful equipment, everyone seems to love our 95” wide, double tub stainless steel sink.
